My derm told me to use moisturizer, and sun protect liquid foundation in the morning.But i also apply some concealer as well, i try to limit my use of concealer as it can clog pores. how true is this? is it ok while i am breaking out? my acne is i think 100% teen acne as i am 15, but i apply concealer because it would be a drag to have people at school seeing my acne.. Help?

I am on my second cycle of accutane. I suffer from severe cystic acne that scars. Although I don’t always have zits all over my face, my cysts can be very severe. I am currently on 60 mgs and am done my 5th month in a week. I am wearing makeup in the video so my acne and acne scarring isn’t obvious. I have heard about Acnepril and heard on the internet that it is very good…any thoughts?
Also, if Acnepril is good will it get rid of back and chest/shoulder acne too or just face because my face isn’t that bad but my back is really broken out and summer is coming up and I want it clear/semi-clear by then. Thanks!

i got prescribed to take accutane to treat my acne, and i have some questions since im unfamiliar with the drug

-how long does it take so see results, and how long does the drug take to work ? i realize there is no such thing as instant results but im just curious.

-how bad are the side effects? or does it vary from person to person

-how does accutane work on the skin ? how exactly does it get rid of acne?

I might have to end up taking accutane and I have mild acne. I have blackheads on my forehead mostly and red pimples and a noticeable acne scar. If I were to take accutane will the scar lessen its appearance and not be that noticable? I have friends that take it and their scars were not noticeable and I seen them before they were taking accutane. SO will it help with my scar and acne and blackheads, accutane?

I had severe acne and completed 2 courses of accutane over a period of 5 years. Now ive been off my second round for about 10 months and the acne is slowly creeping back up on me. I want to stop it before it gets uncontrollable like it was before, and I dont think doctors can even GIVE more than 2 rounds of accutane.

I mean my acne wasnt as bad as acne cases can possibly get, but it WAS as stubborn as they get. So in other words dont suggest creams, antibiotics, other topicals… tried them all already.

Whats the effectiveness of laser treatment, and how long does it last??
Um i have very good personal hygiene, maybe some people need to work on their rudeness….

I’m going into my second month of accutane and all my acne is basically gone but my whole face is discolored. i know ambi fade cream worked on my acne scars before but i’m afraid to use it now because it mite be too harsh for my skin rite now. would palmers cocoa butter work? is there anything i could use rite now?
