I just bought this today and am wondering if it was a good purchase. i dont have pock marks or cystic acne scars. I just have some red spots and a couple dark spots wher acne was. If this helps, I also got off of accutane two months ago. I also am a 15 year old male.

I tried 4 treatments of the smoothbeam laser and it did not work. I have no money to get the fraxel laser because it is expensive and i am still paying for school. I am 24 and my acne scars has brought down my confidence level a lot. Do you have any home remedies or over the counter medication that works??

My son’s dermatologist is trying a prescription body wash for my son’s severe acne, and said if this doesn’t work, he will try accutane. I was reading up on the literature he gave us about it and some of the side effects are pretty bad. I’d like to hear from someone who’s used it, did it help the acne? What side effects did you have?

I have struggled with facial acne and what’s known as ” back acne” for 5 years. It has really lowered my self esteem and I always feel insecure when I go out or even at home. I have acne scars on my face. I tried Palmer’s Scar Serum but i find it incovenient because if i apply it during daytime, my whole face is very shiny and sticky! and if i apply it during nightime, the formula just sticks all over my pillowcase!

This was suggested with other topical and wash treatments to get rid of my acne caused by long term steroid usage (yay brain cancer). Any how insurance won’t cover the treatment as it’s technically cosmetic. They say it takes 2 to 3 treatments at 2 to 3 weeks apart for a cost of $350 each treatment. I’m wondering if anyone has any peronsal experience with this and if it’s really worth the cost.
