My dermatologist just prescribed for me Differin to help lighten my acne scars a bit. I know Differin is supposed to mainly unblock pores and treat acne that way, but I would like to hear if you’ve had any experiences with Differin. Whether you used it for acne or acne scaring, what did you think of it? Was it effective?

My doctor recently prescibed me two medications, 0.1% Differin and mild Stievamycin Gel. Both say to apply before going to bed, except I figure you cannot apply both at once! Should I only be using one, or should I apply one in the morning, and one at night.. but which one?

I have acne and my dermatologist prescribed Duac (at night) and differin (in the morning) to treat it. Is this a good combination? How long should it take to start clearing up my face?

Like just a couple of weeks, or like 2 monthes??? I’ve been using it for about a week and was curious.

Its really bugging me that its producing more acne to clear it all up. I know thats how it works….but its so embaressing to go outside with the my already horrible acne and now plus what this is giving.
Thats the problem….some people said it works and some doesn’t. But I think it’ll work for me….lets see…..

Im on differin acne cream, is it safe to put mederma on my face that is being treated with differin? Also, will mederma even work for acne scars? If not, could someone point me in the direction of something that will?

I just got differin from my dermatologist, I used it before years ago but I think it was the gel that time, and I probably used too much. Anyway, right now it’s mostly blackheads that I have. She said that using the differin regularly will get rid of the existing ones. I find it hard to believe since they are so hard to get out, even by squeezing. But did blackheads for you disappear?
