Minimize Pores & Natural DIYs Routine (Healthy Glow)

I posted my routine that will help minimize enlarge & clogged pores with three do-it-yourself natural remedy to follow. Please request for next week’s skin topic! Side note: Store skin care products in a dry and cool place. Not in your bathroom that will ruin them because of heat and humidity. Always do a patch test on your wrist for sensitivity to an ingredient(s) before applying onto your face. Cleanse skin with mild soap either in the shower when your pores are open or with steam from the sink. I use Continuous Control Clean & Clear for oily combination skin. 2. Exfoliate face daily with 2 tbsp. of baking soda, add water to form a paste and a squirt of glycolic or salicylic acid (Neutrogena Oil-Free Grapefruit) for 20 seconds. You can taper to exfoliate 2-3 times a week once your pores are minimized. 3. Use an alcohol-free toner like the DIY tomato toner in this video to apply daily. Mix 1 fresh tomato juice with 1/4 of cucumber juice, and 1 capsule of vitamin C that you can get at the drugstore to make for 1 week. I leave it on because the cucumber is moisturizing and feel great! If the tomato juice is too acidic for your skin, you can rinse off before moisturizing. 4. Moisturize twice daily. Tips for Naturally Healthy Soft Looking Skin

My skin used to be full of blackheads, large pores and acne and pimple breakouts. Since then, my skin has improved. It isn’t the best but i’m happy with it. Tip 1: I wash my face twice a day, morning and night. I use an oatmeal cleanser in the morning everyday. Bubzbeauty’s oatmeal cleanser video: www.youtube.com Tip 2: Daily exfoliant You can use harsher exfoliators but i use a daily one. It is the St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Daily Scrub. I also sometimes use a weekly exfoliator made from lemon juice and raw sugar. Tip 3: Tone! I always tone everyday so that my skin has an all rounder nice skin tone rather than patchy red skin or something. I use the Clinique Toner (purple bottle, unsure name) and Biore Triple Action Toner Tip 4: Sunscreen! I always use moisturizer with SPF mainly because i don’t like that sunscreen smell. Anyways, moisturizers with SPF and a two in one and my favourite! Tip 5: Sorry lol i skipped one step! Tip 6: Less makeup The only makeup i ever use is mascara, eyeliner and eye shadow. If i would use a foundation i would use a light tinted moisturizer or a powder (LOreal True Match) Tip 7: Moisturize! Moisturizing can hydrate you face and reduce oil flow! Go for an oil-free moisturizer if you can and one that is non-comedogenic. I use the Aveeno Daily Moisturizer. I use it for my face and body and it does not have an overwhelming scent. It helps relieve dry skin but if you have severe dry skin, go for the other liner (Aveeno Daily Moisturizer

I hope that you guys understand the reason I do most of these steps in the video is because of my skin type. Not everyones skin is the same, remember that ! I have extreme dryness due to the acne medication my dermatologist prescribed me. I have been using Retin-a and Effiklair for about 6 months now. I love that I havent had a single pimple in all these 6 months. However, the down side is that im left with peeling skin :( Not everyone is perfect, we all have our flaws. I peel all over my face through out the day and have to constantly put moisturizer on. I dont regret using this acne treatment because I love not having acne ! It’s just a price I have to pay. A little bump a long the road to have dry skin as a side effect XD Anways, this is my routine for my dry skin. If you have a different type of skin, such as oily, combination, or normal, then you might want to skip a few steps here and there. For example, if you have oily skin, you wont be needing to use the Mark Big Fix moisturizer. So just take my steps as a guide to help you form your own foundation routine, k? :) Hope this helped.
