If you don’t have a spray bottle you can use a squirt bottle or just use the bottle it came in. ****Just make sure you leave your bottle of oil sitting straight up. If it leaks out it will be a real greasy mess. Then take a little bit of oil and put it on a tissue or cottonball. Once you have your tissue or cottonball ready start removing your makeup. For heavy makeup or to breakdown a tough to remove waterproof or longwear makeup, I usually just dab some olive oil on on those areas and rub it in a little bit. As much as i would love to use all organic make-up I find that the range of colours in these brands is often too limiting for professional work (particularly in terms of foundation shades and textures). Due to the fact that many of the chemical ingredients and silicones are omitted there will always be certain textures and pigment types which they cannot achieve. However, the market for these ranges is growing and they are improving all the time in terms of their formulations and colour palettes. I’ve included my current favourite natural brands Lavera, one of the best out there, along with well established Dr Hauschka. These are brands I have used personally for years. I havent touched on the subject of animal testing (suffice to say all the brands mentioned have animal welfare high on their list), as its such a huge subject. Working in the industry I know more about this than most but its not something i can cover and do justice to in a short video. Ditto the use of silicone in cosmetics. I did include all my thoughts on silicone in this video but it was 25 minutes long! A look inside my makeup station. This station holds everything i need and then some. Its on legs and can be moved around via wheels. It has six lights, 3 on each side. This system cost me a bomb, but i really really like it so i think it was worth it. NOTE: I paid for everything in this video. Nothing was free. the station cost me £1200. I got no discount on this system. I get the same discount on make up for ever as i do with MAC. I just happen to like make up for ever slightly better as i think the foundations and colours are nicer. You can buy make up for ever in the UK from www.makeup-provisions.com they also sell makeup stations. NOTE: this makeup station is called voyager by cantoni.
