Oily skin is the culprit to large visible pores. Here are some beauty tips that can help minimize the appearance of pores… Disclaimer: Although I have worked for a dermatology company in the past, my experience and opinion shouldn’t replace your healthcare professional’s advice. For severe cases, it is always best to see a dermatologist. FTC: The products featured in the video were all purchased by me .I am not compensated for showing them. Erratum: Benzoyl peroxide, not Salycilic acid, kills acne-causing bacteria. Beta hydroxy axid or simple salycilic acid, is oil-soluble which enables it to penetrate pores where sebum (oil) is produced and trapped. Cleanse skin with mild soap either in the shower when your pores are open or with steam from the sink. I use Continuous Control Clean & Clear for oily combination skin. 2. Exfoliate face daily with 2 tbsp. of baking soda, add water to form a paste and a squirt of glycolic or salicylic acid (Neutrogena Oil-Free Grapefruit) for 20 seconds. You can taper to exfoliate 2-3 times a week once your pores are minimized. 3. Use an alcohol-free toner like the DIY tomato toner in this video to apply daily. Mix 1 fresh tomato juice with 1/4 of cucumber juice, and 1 capsule of vitamin C that you can get at the drugstore to make for 1 week. I leave it on because the cucumber is moisturizing and feel great! If the tomato juice is too acidic for your skin, you can rinse off before moisturizing. 4. Moisturize twice daily. I use Neutrogena Ageless …
Have you entered my free makeup giveaway? No? Please do! You can enter more than once – just leave a comment www.youtube.com NOTE: Please not this was filmed in HD – HD is VERY unforgiving. In real life – in the mirror – no pores were evident. I had zoomed in here so please bare that in mind with any issues with nose hair (!!!) etc… Have you ever noticed when you apply some foundations that the pores can suddenly look “bigger” than when you started? Strange isn’t it. But as you can see from this – they do get bigger but need “teasing” back into hiding. Its very important that you use a thick, preferably natural hair brush for this. Shu Uemura, Tom Ford and Cover FX also make these. I used Shu Uemura goat hair brush. You cannot get the same effect with a normal foundation brush or stippling brush sadly as you need the added pressure these brushes provide. Erasing every pore on your face is never a good idea unless its for a very important event (wedding etc…) because it can make the skin look very unreal. I have set with powder but you can see that before powder was used the pores were 99% gone or “better”. Also, bare in mind that even though this looks simple, it can require practice. Often we can be a little “too heavy” with application and this can make the skin look mask like. Not a good look. I also didn’t use a pore minimiser primer etc… these are very good but i wanted to show what was possible with just foundation and a brush. I used cream foundation but …

Hi. I want to be a dermatologist when I get older, and I’m helping my friend with her skin issues. She has dryish skin under her forehead, and oily skin on her forehead. She has 6-10 pimples, and blackheads, and pores. Are there any home remedies to any of the above? Or are there any real WORKING local products that are good and actually work?
i use proactiv and ive seen an improvment, but not 100%. i still get little white bumps on my chin that are oh so fun to squeeze. i still have blackheads on my nose but i have freckles so they dont bother me as much. but i want flawless skin. is there anyway to get rid of these stupid bumps? even when i used retin a micro they were still there.
I’ve had blackheads all over my nose and chin for years now and I have tried everything but they will not go away. Without having to spend tons of money, are there simple ways to get rid of these bad boys? I can’t stand looking at them. My pores look huge and deep. When I cover them with makeup you can literally see tiny holes in my skin. Gross! Please help me! Thanks
