I would like to try proactiv, but my face breaks out in a rash when I use benzoyl peroxide, one of the ingredients in Proactiv. I’m 29 and i still have acne! I’ve heard Proactiv is great, but I don’t want to spend the money. Are there any other treatments out there that are just as effective but without benzoyl peroxide?

Which one would I put on first? I have to use moisturizer with my treatment because it dries out my skin so bad.

My chin and nose are covered with blackheads, too many to squeeze, but I have very sensitive skin anyway and that would irritate it. I can’t use typical acne treatments, because my skin is very dry and I almost never get pimples (I’m 30). Any suggestions (inexpensive) for clearing up my skin? The rest of my face looks fine!

I am sick of looking at my body cause i Have alot of acne scars and i HATE IT!! How do i get rid of it? I hate being so subconscious about it. Can you guy please tell me how and what I can do to get rid of them? What home remedies will work? Or what I should buy? Thanks

Should I be concerned if the overnight dissolving cream stings a little when first being applied? It never hurts after about five minutes, it only hurts for maybe a minute after applying it, and it doesn’t hurt very bad or I would have discontinued use. This is my second time using it and this is the first time this has happened. It is also old, so do you think that could be a part of it, the first time I used it, it was new. What do you think?
BTW: This product is basically a cheap verson of Proactive but I’m not sure if it works as well.

I have had moderate acne that has recently settled down after I started taking Epiduo. While my skin is noticeably clearer, i still have little red dots where my acne once was. I was told these were scars, and eventually they started to go away. However, sometimes (because of allergies, dry skin, sunburn, etc.) my face will become itchy, red and these scars will flare up. What is causing this and how can I get rid of it?

I use oxy pads to treat my acne and it burns my skin. Should I stop using? Or is the burning suppose to happen?
